Not much today.

Did get one loud, large signal that read as 90 in all directions. Funny thing is, I had just asked my current partner for just such a hit. Wasn't but a few minutes and boom!

I was a bit excited but felt the signal was too big. (I wasn't convinced)

And....I was right.

Solid aluminum. :dontknow:
At least a bit of excitement.

Here's the rest of the day:

Interesting day. That lil knob looking thing is solid, I think aluminum, not threaded and with some sort of hole in it filled with iron rust. Who knows? :dontknow:

Anyhoo, thanks for peeking!

Well you will be able to measure your success now with a new ruler....I have an affinity for shotgun headstamps, so thats my favorite !!

It all adds up. :icon_thumleft:

50ft-yds?

Alright!
Diggins goin on.

The knob looks eccentric in function.
While some of us detectorists remain eccentric in nature....L.o.l..

Congrats on the outing.

Congrats on the nice hunt! :occasion14:

The only silver dollar I've found was extremely loud and clear in the 90s just like a shallow flattened can. That's what I love about the hobby, that moment before you uncover the signal it could be anything. Schrodinger's signal. Its a can AND a giant aluminum sign AND a silver dollar until you look!

Interesting finds and a good walk.
50...hmm, maybe telling you, you're half way to the target?:icon_scratch::dontknow:
