9 year old boy finds $265,000 treasure trove.

"""""Experts estimated that the silver in the coins alone is worth 1.5 million kronor (€170,000 or $265,000). Until now there has been no announcement about a possible reward for the young man. """""

Sounds like the Gov will take the trove and give the boy a reward.
He and gramps should have kept there find secret.

loose lips-sinks $265,000--if I read it right. The details were a bit soft.

You are so right Bob--LOL
I was out for a while today and hope to go again tomorrow. ;D

the boy was excited about helping the archies dig up "his" treasure ---duhhh

I sure hope that boy gets to keep what he found, and half what they found later after he located the spot.

Grandpa sure didn't take very good care of that boy, if something else happens.

I'd give the kid 10%

its a great find, no matter what you get to bring home.

Hell he found it, he should get to keep it.Sometimes your better off being quite about finds, cuz the "MAN" will try ta screw ya out of them.I'm all for Archies, but if not for the finder, it could have gone unfound forever...there is a fine line in all this...It will teach him honesty does not always pay off, if he gets most of it taken be the experts....

I'm sure the boy will get something. I think I'd have a pretty hard time telling someone I found a horde. Some of the European countries have really strict laws when it comes to antiquities.

Nice find for anyone but I sure wouldn't have told/shown anyone,

"finders keepers in my book when it comes to something of that nature" ;D

I would not tell anyone.

Like they say "Loose lips sink ships"

As the saying goes: "somethings you do not even tell your dog"!
