9' long extreamly valuable chain found!

I found this highly valuable chain one link at a time between July and today and painstakingly reassembled it. Funny thing is somehow it had been scattered all about the countryside. Some links were found on the beach others in various parks. I continue to find even more links as time passes. I wonder how long this thing is going to get. I'm thinking about decorating my Christmas tree with it.

Did you find that on a Spanish wreck? Looks like the one Mel Fisher found but I believe your is probably more valuable being made from very rare Spanish aluminum.

James, I believe your right! It is probably an extremely rare Spanish aluminum chain! I haven't discovered specifically which wreck it is from yet though and wish to keep the exact location a secret, by the way does anybody have a list of Spanish galleons that wrecked in Puget Sound?

I think the two colored ones are not part of the same chain? it would probably devaluate the ensemble...lol.

I think the two colored ones are not part of the same chain? it would probably devaluate the ensemble...lol.

At first I thought so too until I realized the colored ones were some kind of marker like the different size beads on a rosary.

Here is a idea Cranky have every member of T-Net send you all the pull tabs they find in a year then you can stretch a chain from coast to coast

I thought this chain was made of sterling silver when I first saw it!
But, upon closer inspection I think you're correct in your assumption that it is made of a space age alloy called aluminum!

Having confirmed that it's made of aluminum, I feel confident in suggesting that it's most likely a relic off the famous ship wreck Coca-Pepsi Cola!

My favorite way of thinking about pulltabs , is to see each one that i dig- as a link in a chain that
eventually leads to a gold ring ! My gold rings have almost all (8 total ) come in on the numbers
for pull tabs - 14 , 18 , 22 - on my Whites MXT. Argentium.

Funny thing about that, a couple days ago I managed to pull out a great big honking gold ring ( http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php?topic=438759.new;topicseen#new ). On my F2 rings generally ring as nickles the old style pull tabs do too. The big gold ring I found the other day showed as a penny but that was because of how it was oriented in the ground. I don't remember the exact numbers, I just listen for any beep that isn't iron and dig. actually nickles show up as iron in salt so I dig everything on the beech.
