It was my second hunt with the Sov gt.

I think I'm getting the hang of this detector.

I hunted low tide from the water line to the high tide line.

very nice. You know those sound you barely catch and the threshold comes back louder. Break the ground with a scoop and then try again. That loud threshold sound that comes back is the sovs way of telling you there is something there but it is really deep.

Hey, I was gonna tell him that!

The WOT coil isn't just for depth, but coverage at depth. The more ground covered down there the better chance of finding the best one of the year.

Both of the WOT coils I have are hot, they will sound off before I get over a target. You can cover SO MUCH MORE AREA in half the time with the 15 inch DD WOT coil. :icon_thumright: No overlap needed on the sweeps and d-e-e-p! :icon_thumright:
