Hi everyone, I decided to hunt at a different part of the park that I haven't hunted much and it has paid off. I have hunted there a few times before but mostly found modern coins and trash. This time I started to dig and the 7th target I got was an extremely worn George the 5th dime. From then I started to grid the area, hunt real slow and dig all mid range to high tone targets. This paid off and I ended up with 4 silver dimes: 1949,1945, 1941 and 1911 (very worn). I got 3 silver quarters: 1960, 1952 and 1944. The coolest find was a silver pin marked BIRKS and says "Ontario Safety League, Be Careful Avoid Accidents, Safety Always, Safe Driver Award 7 Years." If anyone knows how old the pin might be please let me know. I also got 2 wheats a George cent and 2 dog tags. It was an amazing hunt and I will be going back a lot and pound that area. Here is a link to the video:

totally awesome, I found one of those 25 cent pieces yesterday, mine was a 1968 and was silver. that year they minted two kinds of metal, one was pure nickle and a magnet would stick to it and the other was .500 silver. congrats

Awesome finds, I really like your collection.

I'm surprised you didn't find any spanish coins near the si.

That's awesome. I found 20 silver Canadian coins last summer in pa dating 1920 to 1967. No idea why they were in Pennsylvania but it was exciting finding them all in the same vicinity.

That is a great hunt you had,I love silver!

Awesome silver haul and other finds too! Congrats!
