Got out today with my hunting partner Mr. Senior, we hit a small 6 acre park from the 40s which produced 3 silver halves in past. About 10 minutes in he called me over and in the hole he had a 1941 walker with a rosie I was scratching my head because I passed over that spot about 4 times in the past. A few minutes go by and I dig a shallow quarter signal and pops out a sterling ring so I got a little confidence in me now. After that I got a deep 11-44 signal dug it up and pops out a sterling cross. Another half hour later I walked to a corner that produced a few dimes in the past and got a nice 11-47 signal at 8" and popped a rosie. Durring that time Mr. Senior also popped a sterling ring. Another hour went by with nothing but clad and I came up on a raised spot by a couple of trees and got a nice high tone with mixed numbers at 3" dug it and popped a 1943 walker! So I called my partner over and say check that out! After a smoke break I stuck the pinpointer in the hole and get another hit a Rosie! So I started working the 20 foot area around the trees and ended popping 2 washingtons and another rosie among the roots. Mr. Senior also popped another rosie. Here's some pics, today's finds bring me up to 244 silver coins and 31 sterling items for the year
