Found Along the " 8 Miles Along The Shore Lake Ontario" . Was told it was Aluminum . So I decided to test it my self having some knowledge of the Area from the Book . As you can see in the pictures The Platinum and 22kt eat away at the line but the 18kt stays true even after sitting for half an hour

I have found stainless steel will hold up to 18k acid so maybe stainless.Could be from when some stainless steel was being welded and that is stainless slag?
