8/13/12 beach finds

4 hours, I worked mostly deeper water since the lake level is low. best finds were a .55 caliber musketball fired,and a nice brass button. lots of propeller shards both bronze and aluminum.
2 trolling sinkers,2 regular sinkers,and a railroad spike.

No gold but you had a great. I went out and almost got skunked.....

I'm happy with the musketball and button. if we dont get some serious rain the lake is going to become a pond. in october or november the lake level drops big time. I will be able to do some serious shore hunting if we dont.

Any day you can get out to hunt is a good day. Just think of it as "cleaning" the beach when you don't find anything worthwhile.
