This amazing construction site I've been hunting the last 5 weekends has produced an unbelievable 1,100 coins!
Today was another awesome day! 20 minutes into the hunt and I pop out a silver quarter exposed by the bulldozer blade,
it was only about 2 or 3 inches deep. Once again numerous wheat pennies were present, dug up 19 more! After the first
hour I had my first merc for the day, it was a 1945-S. Started this hunt at 9am I hunted until 5pm, boy was I tired! Total
coins for the day was 207! Total silver coins was 6! Also dug up a couple of silver rings. A 1901 V nickel, and a really nice
San Francisco token were also dug I'm going to loose this spot in about one week when the main new construction begins...:(

Get back there real soon before the construction crews keep you from hunting That area has been a gold mine for you.

I know! My main concern is the fact that this spot is a 100 mile round trip for me, and I'm still holding down a 40 hour week job...:( I might leave work early this week and give it one more try.. I know that more stuff good stuff is still in the ground!

Congrats on your hunt at that sweet producing site. :occasion14: What do you use when gridding this site? I use tennis balls. They keep me going in a straight line and reduce the chances of missing some ground when I hit sites that do not have mower tracks to use.

It's real easy to see my foot prints when I walk my grid. It seems no matter how good my grid cover is I still miss silvers. Some of the areas I've covered 5 times and I'm still finding coins I missed!

Incredible spot. I think a vacation week is needed. Great job on the silver!

Man..I didn't think i would ever stop scrolling your post:laughing7: Super good finds dude!:icon_thumleft:

I hit a site like that,an old farm field turned into a park, been hunting it since early 2012..what a haul of goods!

GOD Bless

Chris

THE VERY LAST PIC SAYS IT ALL . WHAT REALLY NICE FINDS .....

I would spend every day for the next week til you can no longer hunt that incredible spot!

Congrats on all the goods!

I want to know where they are getting that dirt from. Will take several loads please.

Lots of great keepers. congrats.

I have a strong feeling that this construction site still has hundreds of silver coins that are just too deep to get. The south end is extremely trash infested with pulltabs, screw caps, and other misc. trash items. That side is nearly impossible to hunt, that one area has enough dirt to cover a football field. I hope the construction crews will start moving the dirt around on that trashy side? Every time the bulldozers go into action more wheaties & silvers are found!

Well done, that's a great spot.
I hope the new construction crew let's you detect after hours.

The "Man" was given two six packs of micro beer to sweeten the deal...:)

Very nice results on #7 trip!

The ring that you're not sure about is probably a toe ring from India, the content is more than likely coin silver .800 and it has that grey look to the jewellery. The little round eyelet is pretty typical of the Indian designs from 25 yrs ago or more. A lot of the coin jewellery isn't marked I found when buying from the shops in India.

You may have said before, and I missed it.... what was this site before construction? Sounds like quite the honey hole!

Sounds like there are leprechauns on unicorns throwing handfuls of coins and jewelry all over that mystical fantasy spot at night. Haha, you definitely have an amazing location! Nice job.
