I met up with L4S & D-Dub this morning for some woods hunting. We bounced around at 2 different sites but the finds were few and far between. By the end of the hunt combined we pulled 1 IH, maybe 10+ wheaties, 1 V-Nickel, 2 Buffalo's, 3 merc's, 2 rosie's, 1 washington, & about a 1,000 shotgun shells. :laughing7:

All of the 6 silver coins were bouncy going from iron to silver, both on the Etrac's and my SE. I have no idea how many nails we dug but it was a ton!!! >:(

Sounds like you did ok, exept the ton of nails. You found silver and the weather was good. HH DFW

Nice Job
All those nails will make you a master digger.

CONGRATS ON YOUR GREAT FINDS , THATS AT LEAST TWO LESS SILVER FOR D-DUB AND L4S!

That's a good/great hunt anytime your walking away with silver. I just ended a two and a half week dry spell that barely had clad in it. I'm drooling looking at your rosies!

Nice mix of coins!! Too bad the buffalo isn't in decent shape. Do you clean yours?

Just with soap and water. I only cleaned 1 (my 1st buffalo) nickel with salt & vinegar, I don't like the way they look afterwords.
