The heat was on during August with highs mostly in the 90's peaking on the 21st with 99F. Hot summer months are rough here in the west,still I did a little better than last year. Here are my totals for the month;
Cents; 303 (19 wheats, oldest 1925)
Nickels; 48
Dimes; 202 (5 silver,4 mercs ones Roosevelt)
Quarters; 173 (65 states and territorial,38 different)
Half Dollars; 1 (1943 walker)
Foriegn coins; 1
Silver rings; 3
Other rings; 2
Marbles; 3
keys; 2
Other keepable items; 10

Coin total; 738 Last year 568

Yearly total till now; 8328 Last year; 6940
