Cool to see that treasure tales have always interested people. Exactly where is the Chickasha River in Oklahoma?

Cool to see that treasure tales have always interested people. Exactly where is the Chickasha River in Oklahoma?

More then one occasion I have seen Creeks referred to as Rivers in early Writings .
I'm going to guess they Meant creek.
Is there a Chickasha creek in the area ? or could they be Referring to the Cedar creek ?

although it is not Labeled Penn Pilot sends me East of Rt. 69 & Atoka
south of Stringtown

stuff dont quite mesh with the news article,Coleman's Bluff is east not west
zoom in a lot of gravel pits

B to C on map is i think the Chickasha/Chikaskia, and meets the Arkansas at B
C is where the Chickasha starts in ok
F is Newkirk, Oklahoma and D is Coleman's Bluff according to the FB post
