One thing they all have in common is their combat roles. They were all commanders of combat units. Major General Michael Carey
Commander, 20th Air Force, he was in charge of 9,600 people and 450 ICBMs at three operational wings and served in operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. It lists 13 major awards he has received.

Vice Admiral Tim Giardina
Deputy commander of United States Strategic Command. His most recent command assignment was as commander, Submarine Group Trident, Submarine Group Nine, and Submarine Group 10 where he was responsible for all 18 U.S. Trident Submarines. Through my astronomy site I have met many intelligent
people from countries all over the globe. One friend in
Australia recently told me that most of the folks in his
area consider the US as quickly becoming much like the
old USSR.

We don't have a Gestapo, or KGB, but we do have a "Homeland
Security". Through their systems they can now access any
and all information about any American, including our health
information should we allow it to be entered into their system.

The AHC Act was the biggest victory, ever, for Socialism in
America. I have no doubt that Marx and Lenin were cheering in
their graves the day that was passed. Some would disagree,
but perhaps they have not seen what those Socialist societies
were really like, and how they got that way.

It's been a slow, but on-going process for the past 30 years
(or more), and it seems that now the changes are bigger
(ie: not in smaller increments any longer), and are taking
place more frequently.

Democrat, Republican, Tea Party, yada, yada. Doesn't matter
what they call themselves, but if they don't stop this "Socialist
Slide" soon, I fear that The People are going to get completely
fed up .......with deadly violence between Americans being the result.

Most horrible thing I can imagine, but the threat is real folks.

Pippin: What in the world makes you think it is acceptable for you to refer to
Conservatives in that manner? The term is absolutely inflammatory, and you enjoy
using it as if it were a common phrase in your speech. All you're trying to do is
get someone to respond to you with the same attitude so you can "blast" them
with a few more of your colorful metaphors.

People have a right to believe differently than you, and not be harassed
and called names as a result. You have that same right, but keeping it starts
with losing the cheeky attitude; progress will never be made in this country
until people begin to respect one another again.

Just FYI: It's not OK. If you can't discuss others political beliefs without
making every effort incite an angry reply, then please, keep your keyboard
