Primary Interest:
Shipwrecks
I got out for 6 hours today, found a fired .40 caliber musket ball, 4 ships spikes, 2 12ga. shotgun shells, an odd iron piece that looks like a comma, probably used to stop a gear from moving, 2 quarters a 1975 Canadian and a 1993 u.s. , 2 dimes a 1969 and 1985, a 1949 nickel, and 2 pennies a 1973 and a crusty zincoln from ? , 1.5 lbs. of sinkers, a silver plated spoon handle that I think was a ring at one time, part of a fishing lure and a lot of trash.

happy hunting to all.

Anything you pull out of the ground is a nice find wwwtimmcp. Thanks for sharing...

From the land of the Bluenose....one busy bouy. Man I cringe just thinking of all the knee bends you did and a good job you did. Dig and they will come.

It's AMAZING how much CRAP is out there, isn't it?

It's all worth digging. If it's not the scenery to be grateful for, it's knowing we've done a little bit to "de-junkify" our environment, right?

Keep diggin'.

I'm working an old shipwreck site and the musket balls alone are telling a great story. I always said the book would make more money than the artifacts, but just getting to see history for the first time in 242 years makes me happy. some of my finds are priceless, but the story they tell are worth much more. most people cannot understand what life in 1771 was like, I hope to help change that so they can appreciate the thing people went through to give us the life we live now.
