The wife and I went to our permission site after a hard 10 minute rain the night before. Lots of newly exposed artifact compared to my last trip there a few days before. Mostly flakes, but also a handful of tools, hand held hammers and grinders I’m calling them, unsure exactly what they are. These rocks are not native to this area which is entirely fine reddish sand except for caliche brought in for the oilfield lease roads. The most interesting one is far upper left corner, a somewhat conical stone made of quartzite I think.
