So I was looking threw some old threads of when I first got started in this hobby, and 7/13/12 was the day my son and I got our first silver, 1943 merc!, I counted each and every other silver since then and for some reason I never did a 2012 year end wrap up:dontknow:

anyhow, for 2012 our total coin and non coin silver count was 13, for 2013 our total coin and non coin silver count was 30, and for 2015 our total coin and non coin silver count was 67!!!

Point being each year I seem to more than double my previous year, if my calculations and DREAMS are correct, 2015 should bring me somewhere near 150?? lol hey a guy can dream right?

yes im bored, yes I haven't detected in over a month and a half, yes I wont be able to for at least 6 more weeks.............

thanks for reading and HH!!

150??? Come on now...save me some!

I have seen people on here SAY they've made that number...whether they have...who knows?

Well at the right spots w the right detector I've seen people hit 5-10 silvers per outing, that's part of the reason I want to upgrade, I have a hard time believing the local parks in our area are dry of silver

Ok, I may order a new detector, but I am gonna have it shipped to your house. You don't mind, do you? Lol.

Trying to avoid the wife knowing? Lol the struggle is real

J/k. I am gonna order new phones though.

Funny thing... I liked ur post and then i realized ur located near me! The thaw Seems so close yet so far away.... I was thinking about the AT Pro myself, how is it on depth in our area?

Wow! That is a lot of silver... Happy Hunting in 2015!

Welcome to the forum, PDD....the ATP is a very good all around machine for the money. I think you were asking Cjon, but he hasn't answered, so I did lol.

I hear good and bad about it... but since he was from my general area, I figured I'd ask a 'local'... but thanks for ur input too!! :-)

I love my atpro, Ive recovered coins anywhere from 1" to about 8-9". I got a seated dime in Sandy soil at 8", and wheats deeper than that, the ATP seems to love wheats, sniffs em out easy, I want to upgrade to the etrac because I've had my eyes on it for 2 yrs now, I've watched hours of videos on it and am impressed with its depth and discrimination ability, I'd LOVE the ctx3030 but I want to stay married for now lol
