finally a 1.5" cannonball no mistake this time, plus a 1917 wallker half to boot, a 1966 quarter,5 lbs of sinkers, lots of propeller pieces,an old nail and a rock that drove my detector nuts. the water was nice and confortable, a little more visability and it would have been awesome. hope you all had a good day too.

I forgot I had this stuff in my float/flags pockets, another sad iron,a knife, melted lead blob, small old nail, the top left thing has a name or number cast in but will need cleaning, it looks like some sort of hanger,a large nut,a piece of a gate,a golf ball, and 2 broken ships spikes.

happy hunting to all.

Nice finds. Just curious are you sure its a cannon ball and not a tumbler ball??

Re: 7,11,11 beach finds, oh yeah

If you're not sure it's a cannonball, you can post under what'z it. Excellent finds though. Need a better close up picture to really show it off. Congrats on those finds :)

Sweet!!! congrats on the cannonball!! She's a beaut! :icon_thumleft:

positive it aint a tumbler, there aint a mine within 75 miles of this place and all the cutlass handles, military buttons, musket balls, and colonial artifacts bear this out. it might be from a large swivel gun but that is still a cannon to me.
