6hr hunt with L4S - Silver half, my 1st gold in 2 years and lots more!!!

Well Like the title says here are our finds. be sure to watch the video too.
The earring looks huge but it has to be a hallow one but it weighs 1.9g and I just checked the value online and its worth $40.64 at today's spot price. The last time I found gold was back when I was swinging my Ace 250. I seen it lying on a trail when we were exiting the woods and I thought it was a silver ring so I darted over to claim it before John even knew what was going on.

Funny you should say that. We both scanned it with our Minelabs and .....NOTHING.... not even a peep.....and then when we went back to our cars, TF fired up his Ace 250....and Beep, Beep, Beep!!!!!! Unreal, I couldn't believe that $1000 machines couldn't pick it up and the Ace did. TF definately made it official by getting a signal on the Ace!

How do you manage to keep the video cam from getting full of dirt?
I'm hesitant to bring mine on a hunt because I don't really have a place to put it that's not gonna get a bunch of can slaw or other dirty trash tossed in with it. I may have to rig up some kind of neck strap or else bring along a camera crew and let them deal with it.

I put it in a ziplock bag while im hunting and toss it into my pouch. I tried hunting with the cam mounted on a tripod a few times with it slung over my back but it kept getting caught on low branches and I tried carring it but that is a pain because im already carring my detector in one hand and a shovel in the other hand.
