When a bullet has been carved on as much as that one has, you may not be able to ID it for sure.

The base is cut at an angle. May have been by a bulldozer when the house was built.

Could it be a .69 caliber Gardner?

two ringer 69 cal.--- most 2 ringers are thought of as being confederatre

That bullet's "nose" is MUCH too short to be a Gardner ("2-ringer") minie, unless it was whittled down a heckuva lot. Compare it with the photo of a .69 Gardner, below. Need more photos, showing your bullet from several different angles.
