I have no clue what it is. It rang 94-98 on the Nox 900. I dug about eight inches down, the whole time thinking I've found big silver, only to find this. I mentioned in another post that it was silver plate copper but it may be chrome plated. Not sure how to tell the difference. On the female end it has fine threads on the inside.

I agree. Some type of gas diffuser. Possibly from a lamp or heater.

What about some kind of Aeration tube Or it could be for adding or Mixing some type of liquid or gas to another liquid.
