64 coin day total. Almost six months into the year and finally managed my 1,000 coin milestone which is a first for me.

(1) See what a Lesch Digging tool does to a stubborn Washington Quarter. Thank goodness that wasn't my finger!

(2) See the ugliest penny I have ever recovered. I don't have an explanation for that one...

(3) Help me ID the gold plated pendant with a mysterious symbol. I haven't a clue... ???

SLQ=1
Dimes = 170

Are you sure you didn't just slip that knife into a mower created groove ;)? Pretty cool anyway. Love the variety.

I think I see the & symbol in your unknown tag. Could if be H & H ? Like one of those fancy ranch symbols? Just guessing. Good luck. :)

The pearls of trying to dig a thousand coins, instead of digging one coin worth a thousand.

Easy does it. You won't be able to turn your coins into cash at that rate.

Ummmm. You do know a Lesche digging tool is pushed slowly underhand and not swung hard from overhead? :D I'm pretty sure it's seven years bad luck to shear a Standing Liberty Quarter that way. Slow down and smell the {silver} Rosies. ;)

When digging, think the night camp scene at the end of The Missouri Breaks and not the shower scene from Psycho. "I woke you up to tell you I'd sit your throat"

I'm with Charlie...I'm glad it was a 1981 Washington and not a 1881 Seated. Just think a hundred years from now the THer that pulls that Washington out of the ground starts crying.

"Stay away from the cans Washington Quarters he hates cans
Washington Quarters"
