Hi guys.
My friend got his ATpro last week. I invited him to come with me on my prefered areas. Once he used my ATpro and this was the second time for him. After some advices he was on his own but still close to me.
He asked me again to help him with a target. It was a deep can but he wanted it out. I think it happens to everyone at the beginning.
Then i was getting back to where i was swinging but on my way back i had a high 61. Usually, the pulltabs beep 61 but not steady. This one was a steady one. I began digging and this beautifull yellow ring with a 750 inside of it, came out. [emoji12]
I was shocked and didn't record or have a photo. View attachment 1308764

Today we went again together to a site where i have found coins from the 1600-s. He found one too today but i had another steady 61. I didn't think what it could be but i got on my knees and dag but right in the surface a shiny yellow ring was smiling to me. This time i had photos [emoji3].

The rest was an old Swiss coin from 1812 and a BIG penny.

Have fun with your metaldetectors guys.

I have found a few of those steady signal pieces with my M-6,2-6-10-14-18.

Got you to grinning didn't it.:laughing7:

GOD Bless

Congrats on the two gold finds. Might be good karma for helping a friend.[emoji106]

Congrats Vince, on digging 2 gold rings in back-to-back hunts. :occasion14: Who needs those stinking probes to find treasure? You equaled my gold ring finds in just two days. It took me 2 years to find 2 gold rings. Nice to see you're posting more regularly.

Yeah, it got us to grinning because it was ironic. Just two mins before, a lady asked me if I find any gold. I told her that it happens but not everyday. I said to her: for example, if i find a gold ring here it is not that i come back here tomorrow and find another one, they don't grow on grass. She left and after 30 secs I was on my knees laughing out loud. My laugh made my friend come running to me.

Double gold . Wtg

I forgot to say that i am using the 5x8 inch coil, maybe with the bigger coil it shows a different vdi. I have noticed that the sound is sharp and is different from the pulltabs but not much. I'm sure the size of the coil matters. I am also using sensitivity one bar less than max.

Congrats on the two gold finds. Might be good karma for helping a friend.[emoji106]

If that is the case i will invite every one to hunt with me [emoji12].
Thanks man

Thanks Loco
Maybe i can call myself a detectorist now [emoji12]. I almost don't use the 9x11 coil anymore. I have found small coins even 15-20 cm deep with the 5x8 coil and it is better for trashy areas.

Congrats on the gold rings Vince! Glad to see that you are getting and hunting. Best of luck to you sir.

Thanks Loco

I feel the same way with my 5x8.. I've found some really really nice coins with it & it's very accurate.

Depth and ground coverage are the only negatives. I've thought I picked yards clean with my 5x8 & will hit on deeper IHC's and wheat pennies that I previously walked over with the 8x11.

You've redefined the term "two ringer". Over here, we use that to describe an old lead bullet, but in Italy....anyway, Congrats on your two-ringer!

Double Gold on the AT PRO. Definitely a nice feeling.
I got gold at 63 and 65 with the PRO. My lowest number with the PRO was a 51. That produced an 18kt black onyx man's ring.
Congrats on a some nice back to back "Golden O's"

Nothing better than gold in the hole. 58 seems to be my lucky number in that category.

Thanks Tom.
You mean this kind of 'two rings'?
