We got permission on a new farm this week and tried the field looking best from the few which were open for detecting.
No cropmarks but some roman pottery, high ground near a creek.

yes very cool indeed. awesome actually

Very nice celt with a fine edge. I love that picture of the green coin in the dirt!

Very nice finds, congrats! :occasion14:

great hunt, very nice recoveries, the axe head is really nice, congrats on all the saves

that axe is awesome. The WW2 stuff looks like a .50 cal round, a few 20mm casings, and some shrapnel.... must have been a bit of a fight going on there

Beautiful celt! Love your other finds too

Amazing axe head...definitely makes the hunt one to remember...good luck with your hunts...Walt

Nice!

The whatzit is part of an early medieval horse harness strap guide/junction.

Hey you found my old busted axe. You can keep it... I went and traded up on that new latest and greatest copper head model.
