Been huntin with my 6000 Di pro sl since i bought it new in 1992 i think found a lot of great finds with it here in the Southern tier of N.Y. state. but one day it wouldn`t fire up at all so i called Whites .they intern gave me the # for Centreville Electronics in Manassas Va.( i guess they service the east coast)
Called and they told me to send it in they would look at it ,they call me in 5 days and told me of the problem and i told them to fix it and paid over the phone.....had it back in 3 more days!!

The 6000/DI pro had lost some of its depth over the the years and i also lost a step or two.
When i got the machine back i went to an old school house 1828-1952 now a prv. home
WOW... that Centreville Eletronics did a great job...i had frogoten how deep of a decector it is !!
Found 1, Gold Ring 2, IH pennys 1892 and 1906 1, 1862 seated liberty dime 3,Mercury 1920,1936s,1941d most 8" to 10" and some junk
I have hunted the place with a number of other decectors over meny years Fisher CZ-6a Toltec II Garrett CX II and have found good stuff.
But this 6000 DI acts better and huntes deeper that it did when new... im 1 happy beepin son of a gun thanks Centreville for the tune up.
Now i`ll send my Fisher CZ-6a in for a tune up at First Texas, hope they r as good in service and teck as Centreville.
I would reckamend a tun up for any older machine that you value it worked for my 6000 DI/PRO SL xb
thanks Gary

I used to live about 10miles from Centreville Electronics. In 2002 I was torn between an MXT and the Explorer. I had checked out the MXT at Centreville and they were very helpfull. I had to drive to Richmond to check out an Explorer. I chose the MXT not only for the ease of use and adjustments and power but also because of Centreville Electronics. :icon_thumleft:
