I knew this would happen to you when I read your first post.
Welcome to addiction, (metal detecting).
I would organize an intervention, but it won't help. ;)
Dig man, dig!

So much terra firma, so little time!

... the wife says its to much don't know what she means ...

Don't know "what she means" ? I means you are led around like a bull-on-a-string. Aka: "p@ssy-whipped". The other option you have is to "talk to her about it". Afterall, you're a "nice husband", aren't you ? And do you know how to know when the "talking about it" has ended ? : When you'd uttered "yes dear". Otherwise ...... well ......... you're not done talking about it.

Welcome to the best hobby around. I dream of metal detecting in Europe, so much history. Very late 1600's and 1700's is about the oldest I can get where I live.

yes I am lucky to live here I can drive for 20 min and be finding roman coins within the hour , so much history even in small farms you find George 3rd coins that's why I love this hobby

It's awesome to have that much history where you are. Just curious, care to share any of your finds :), very interested to see what you found in an area you rich in history. Also, George III coins are considered ancient where I am from:laughing7:
