Guys, I told you that after the mini Jackpot I hit on Friday (http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,423924.0.html) that I would clear $2k in dimes, I only managed to clear $1940, as I picked up $60 in half dollars (skunk) on my little road trip as well.

Re: $1940 in Dimes and $60 in Half Dollars

Wow, what a week man, your killing it with the dimes.

Re: $60 Half Dollars and $1940 Dimes JACKPOT

Thanks, I think I've found a nice silver vein in my area. The jackpot rolls from both days were the same paper rolls, but not from the same bank. I get the feeling some old backshelf rolls are going out in my area, or someone dumped a collection. Either way, i'm going to make a targeted approach on Monday to try and obtain as many of the "Jackpot" type rolls as possible from the banks I got these ones from. I'm hoping to get a few haircuts this week, as I haven't had my first one yet. :P

Another great dime score. - and more great mercs too. Congrats again.

Continued success & HH!

WOW!!!!!!

It looks like a load of silver!!! I've found 4 mercs in my entire life...I can't imagine getting 6 in one buy.

Congrats!!!!!

Does that 1916 Merc have a mint mark? The 1916 D can be worth a ton of money.

Yes, the 1916 does have a mintmark. Unfortunately it's a 1916-S. I overlooked the 1916 when I found it, but later that night I remembered if it's a 1916D it's like the holy grail of mercs. I ran upstairs to check, and saw half an S staring back at me.

That's great! It's nice to see others out there hitting the dimes hard and having success.

For those willing to put in the time and effort, it most definitely is still out there.

HH to all,
cuttybce
