Today my wife and I went to an auction to buy some coins. After spending about $40 on graded proof coins and a 76' proof bicentennial half dollar they got to 4 bags of foreign coins. I went ahead and bought them for $20. Boy was I happy to buy it. It was full of silver coins! Here is just a quick recap of what I've found so far:
1942 Fiji 1 florin
1953 Mexico 25 centavos
1939 Netherlands 10 cents
1942S East Indies 1/10 gulden
1787 Great Britain six pence..sadly holed any ideas on the value of this would be appreciated
1947 Canada 10 cents
1860 Brazil 20 reis..sadly another holed apparently there were only 26,000 minted
1914 Canada 5 cents
1881 Canada 5 cents
1920 Cuba 20 centavos
1874 Great Britain 1 shilling love token...the back was rubbed off and a inscription is on it
1949, 1950 Canada 25 cents
1913 Canada 25 cents
and this is just a partial list I still have another 15-20 silver coins that I need to grade and research. The total silver weight from what I have right now excluding the florin is 41.553 grams. I also have many other non silver coins that I need to research but so far it looks good.
