I decided I had to try a new spot today, the old ones were not producing. I decided to try an old boulevard that I had only briefly hit before. It started out slowly, with a silver ring(which is fine by me). The ring has two naked women on it. One is holding a star and the other is holding the sun. In between the moon and star is a purple stone. After that I found a few wheat's and a 1920 merc. Then I moved to the next section of the boulevard. Found a merc 1939D, 2 silver quarters - 1944, 1956D and a Army-navy (ster) production award pin. The wheat's dates are - 1919,1920,1944D,1945,1945D,1951D and 1958D. There are 10 more large boulevard sections left, I will definitely have to get back there right away. HH

What do you mean by "boulevard hunting?"
Big joe, the grass strips between the roads in a neighborhood are great places to hunt. Kids play foot ball and games in them, people drop cions and rings walking across them to go to stores, (in some places). They are also public property. Hope you get to hunt in some and do very well!!! HH

Really nice finds. That is a really neat looking ring, appears that a lot of work went into making it bet it is pretty old. Ive thought of hunting some of those areas but I thought it might get the neighbors in a tiff. Wasnt really sure what you meant by boulevard hunting either thanks for clearing that up,HH...Shoot

:o Whoa! 8) Looks like you found a super site, HH!

Congrats on all that silver! Nana :)

Thanks for all your responses, it's been at least about a month and a half since I found a silver coin. Hope all of you have a outstanding day the next time you go out!! HH

Congrats on the six silver day . They don't come very often so it's great when it happens . That silver military E award is sweet ! WTG ..... ;D

I found this on the web.

The "E" emblem was designed by Army Lt. General William S. Knudsen. This design was filed with the U. S. Patent Office on November 11, 1942 and design patent number 134,959 was assigned to it on February 2, 1943.
