Thanks..............
That site is on private land, and indeed it is a honey-hole............
I hope it gets completely turned over this year.................last year it was just turned over around the edge and I still found a Cossatot River point!..............

Thanks
I would be hard pressed to find a better Searcy point there.......
There is a big Searcy culture site where I found that point.............That is 1 of a perfect 3 points and a few others found with them,,,
Very well grinded Stem...........it has a perfect stem with no damage,,
a 7000 year old point type............

Thanks littlejohn
Thanks scarlett33................Don Dickson named/typed the point after Searcy County,Ark here in N.W.ARK
Don named it the Searcy point at the urging of several Archeologist who wished to avoid having so many types with the *Rice* name in them
Rice Lanceolate,Rice Lobed,Rice Contracting Stem.................ect
Just think it could have been the Rice Stem point.............................har

Nice Searcy, and very classic for the type Jeff. If you're coming to the Springdale show next month, drop by my table and I'll give you a cast of the original Searcy from Don. I don't think the type gets enough credit, they are very early and usually very well worked.
