WTG!!!, Iv'e been wanting to hit the local park beach, here but haven't done it yet.
I think seeing these will hurry things up ;D
Happy Hunting~

I live in ny and found them in a local county park.
they drained out some water for whatever reason and all the rings came from what was below the water line in the swiming area.
I use a landstar with a 10 inch coil. Seems as none were more than a inch or two down, I also found 10 millon bobby pins a folding knife, 10 bucks in clad,? and strangely a half a dozen paper cilps?

Nice finds! i have rings but not that many :-\ and i have been detecting for a while now i have a XLT any others who are xlt fans?HH again nice finds! ;D

I often find paper clips and used to wonder why. Couldn't figure out why anyone would lose a paper clip on a beach-- until someone came by with a book and showed me he was using a paper clip as a book mark!

Those silver rings should clean up nice-- take a bit of white vinegar (5%-- grocery store item) and pour it in a little jar. Wrap the silver ring loosely in a small amount of aluminum foil, so it is touching on both sides, and drop it in the vinegar. Wait 5 minutes, and take the ring out-- without drying it off-- and put it strait into a little pile of baking soda. Rub it until its dry and clean with your fingers or a toothbrush, and rinse it off. (I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS FOR OLD SILVER COINS!) Watch the ring isn't just plated (you can check the edges for wear under a magnifying glass) or the plating will come off when you do this. It won't work on junk rings or mood rings, either-- just silver.
