Had a short 30 minutes to hunt a piece of land that finally its plants died down to a reasonable height. The sun was blazing, so I grabbed my Tesoro and gave it a go. Six holes in a row, I got a keeper of some sort.. Best record for me.--
2 Catholic medallions, one aluminum, probably only 50 +years old (not pictured). But the second one is 1700's.. Needs more cleaning..(2 sides shown)
A thingamajig: Maybe a handle for a corkscrew, probably not, but something like that, Bronze. Maybe a Roman Fibula, who knows?
A silver pocket watch side, which matches other pieces of watch parts I found within a 50 yard radius. I will put all the parts together in an update to this post.
The other two pieces were two coins, Swiss..1895....and Italian...1920
I have just added the last picture of the other parts of a watch that are all found within 50yards of each over a 4 month period. I don't know if they are all from the same watch, or it's just a coincidence.
