This Am i decided to spend a few minutes in a park that i would normally feel like a minority in, but because it was so early and a little chilly, no one was there.

The 6 dollars came from a 5x5 spot covered with 3 inches of leafs with no digging needed.
4 quarters, a nickel and dime came from the same hole under the swings.

To bad no silver :(

Way to Go

Consider a small light for your head and you can search at night

Must be a lot to dig since you found so much just on the surface.

Why to scoop up the cash!
I hope the new dollars become more popular to carry and use someday like in Canada instead of just being collector coins. It would be nice to find these almost every hunt huh.

Congrats and happy holidays!

BDoo ;D

That's $18 an hour and based on a 40 hour work week you'd be making more than $37,000 detecting full time (tax free). Figure that would be equal to about $45,000 if you had to pay taxes.

looks like a good day to me ! glad you got out , congrats ;)

WAY TO GO.. AND I THOUGHT I WAS DOING GOOD, I FOUND $5.41 AT A LOCAL SCHOOL ALL OF WHICH I HAD TO DIG THROUGH A HALF INCH IF FROZEN GROUND IN 29 DEGREE WEATHER THIS MORNING... KEEP IT UP, HH !!

Wow! It always cracks me up to see those new dollars being lost/found already, I dont even see em in circulation hardly unless I buy a roll and spend em

very cool!! 6 bucks in 20 minutes is awesome. :)

Were you in SE Raleigh again? ;D ;)
I did about the same thing too yesterday on the way back from a place above Durham that turned out to be a bust. I stopped at a school that I would not normally ever consider, but it was cold, drizzling, and not a sole in site. I found clad and zippers.
Better weather due next week I see.
Congrats,
MM
