A great day at the diggins. ROMEO 1 and I spent 6 hours with fantastic views including a few bald eagles, and decent breeze sure made for a pleasant day.
6 Coppers recovered, one was my first cartwheel penny, was hoping to get to see the date off the large robust copper, but time, and corrosion has taken it's toll. Only the diameter, and the tell tale rim is all that is left to ID her. 2 Silvers a KGIII 6 pence, again no date but 1816-1820, and a Can 5 cent silver 1881, first half dime of the year. Lots of targets, but they were very sporadic, over a large area.
96 Coppers so far this year, can hardly believe that myself, 100 is just around the corner.
The big crotal is from yesterday (no coins)
