Hello everybody,

I put in a quick hunt on my favorite area of 2013. I've hunted there 4 times this year and pulled out 20 coins dating from 1890-1946. Sunday, I had a little bit of time to head back out there. Area has a creek now but used to also have a lake, I hunted along the creek for awhile only finding a copper or brass eagle that I'm not sure what it is, can anyone help me out? Heading back to the truck to end the hunt I got a +79 on the G2, been hitting a lot of those (aluminum cans from the creek) but this was a tight signal at 3 inches so I prayed for the best. Out popped a toasted wheat and upon rescanning the hole I noticed another signal, this one a +78, looked down and could see a green coin in a dirt clod, reached down and pulled out a 1907 Indian, all right, my 3rd Indian for 2013! I can't get a date on the wheat but under my microscope it looked like 191?.
2013 has been great in the finds for me but I've been disappointed in that I have only been out 7 times this year so far, they don't let you have too much free time in medical school.

Thanks for looking and good luck to you all!

Oh yeah, the little round deal above the eagle's head appear to have 13 stars inside of it. Also, the ribbons above the eagle have E Pluribus Unum written on it. I couldn't find the other leg of the eagle. It doesn't appear to have anything on the back but metal it stamped at the edges to where it forms a lip all around the edges on the back.

Eagle fits on a half dollar but it too large for a quarter.
