Nice job Trout! not much time left in the fields with the rain and heat coming I always thought those real thick pieces of pottery belonged to the bottom of the pot

I've wondered about those thick pieces. It seems like I find a lot of the thick pieces on a couple of sites. Nice finds, Trout. Looks like it was a hot dusty day.
