just bought another 5900 dipro with case, battery, battery charger, the case is the big thing, no more in the back pack loosely bouncing around. I think that's what did the last one in. but I love that detector. if my mxt had all metal non motion I would of bought the 15 inch mxt and put that on. but I bought a second 5900 for the price of the mxt 15" loop.....what a power house the 5900 is unbelievable. I think the only other detector out there that comes close is the tdi pro, other than that there is no other... I can get a foot in a half further than a mine lab explorer se pro when were both cranked up as far as they go...the mine lab had a 10 inch coil that's air tested on my motor cycle at 4 feet beep both ways, 5900 15" inch maximum 6 and a half foot total non motion.smoked him... can't wait.

hello every one

well it finally came in,
and got to take it out went to a spot were there is a lot of copper conglomerate and found the deep one like no-then. I have a test boulder in the ground a bout 4 feet deep I found it with my garret box loop but the white's 5900 can find it all so, even with a 950 loop but you have to be right on top of it,

so after that I took a walk and the 5900 started to ring out shrunk the single and it still would ring out needle pegged all the away to the right 98 percent of the time first target ended up to be a piece of copper conglomerate down a good 3 feet whacked it with a shovel and it sparked didn't have time to take so I reburied it. I have several others in that spot pending removal if no one else gets their first.finders keepers losers weepers haa-haa

but I notice the 5900 needs a switch it's sticky and i think that's the reason it doesn't bleep bleep like the other one I have when you turn it on. it's like a static beep like it's cut short but it's aloud beep.even though the threshold isn't piercing like my other one it's sounds better then the mxt. all in all it runs stable it's a good detector looks brand new. now this winter all send both to tony lee and have them calibrate to the 15" maximum blue max series coil. and no mater what happens next year all have two one to back up the other witch is the only way too go. thank you white's

Hello liftloop,
Some of the older machines are fabulous marvels of older electronics technology. I am not familiar with the 5900 Pro but I have a 6000 D coinmaster and it is a superb coinshooter. I'm curious about your Mr. Tony Lee and the type of tweaks his performs on the older machines, would you please share with me his contact information so I can ask him about what he offers for the 6000 D.

I've a cousin who Lives in Lakelinden, Imagine That..........63bkpkr

tell me more on that 15" black coil,i have been told thats its useless unless for big items:icon_scratch:

HELP,JUST BOUGHT A REAL NICE 5900 DI/PRO/SL ,CAN YOU YOU GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK,ALSO ABOUT GROUND BALANCING.ITS ON ITS WAY TO ME NOW.WHATS THE NEXT BEST COIL FOR THIS MACHINE.GUY TOLD ME THE BIG FOOT COIL IS BETTER ALL AROUND?ALSO THAT THE 15" COIL ONLY WORKS ON BIG TARGETS---SO FORGET THE COINS,RELICS AND JEWLERY:dontknow:

hay their, good choice on the per-chase the secret to that detector it the all metal non-motion and when you find a target pull the trigger and the single will shrink keep k-liking and it mite disappear on you but the single will get smaller witch is great for close targets.

put a penny a quarter and a nickle on the ground a bout 3 inches apart in a try-angle. ground balance G.E.B. norm preset is easiest to balance out...know the fun starts inch your way towards the big three in g.e.b norm get over them and click the trigger so the single shrinks some times click two too three times it depends,

know you should find all three and it should tell you what one your over, but if there's iron near by, it won't I.D them at all still beep separately on them but won't i.d. them correctly they will read as iron. found that out with the 15 inch loop, and when it won't stay balance your batteries are low or toast, and it should go bee-bleep when you turn it on out side. and if the ground is hot you will have to supper tune it.

and that is when you turn down the thresh hold so you only hear the tuner on the high side of the spike because it's not smooth like at pre set or if you cranked out to the max hold the loop up until it's smooth out but you have to keep at that height to much in flux and it will drive you buggy...

and some time you mite think you found some then, but it went out of balance all ways rise and lower the loop too see if it is still balance, and when in a real liter-y spot shrink the single and find all the targets. some times your sweep will read a near by target along side of the one you found and it's reading them both that why you have to turn in your sweep that's when you will read only the one target and the needle will probably stay at all metal.

I started out with an mxt and learned on that what an easy detector to run compared to the 5900 di pro but that 5900 will find deeper targets but over head wires are not fun. mxt not a sound under over head wires. and ground moisture change will can efect it all so. hope that helps enjoy a great detector and you will know when you find some then big and deep it will keep ringing hard you think you broke it, even shrinking the single it will go rite back to a hard ring with some movement.....
