Not too often have I had good enough weather in February to be be able to dig holes. Hit a couple early 1800s sites I had previously hunted to see if I left anything behind, surely I did I thought….
1827 large cent
1863 IHP (fatty)
1867 IHP
1873 IHP open 3 variety
1867 2 cent coin
1864 princess/shield civil war token
1863 DIX civil war token

Looking for information on the crystal gem. To me it meets all the criteria to be amethyst, found at a site that was occupied from 1811-1838. Hoping it is of that era.

Those are some outstanding finds! Congrats on the coins, but I must say I love those tokens.
The wording on that DIX token is great.
"If anyone attempts to tear it down, shoot him on the spot"
