Sorry to double post but I'm hoping someone over here might have some information.

Forgot I even had this. Last time I saw it was about 20 years ago. Never paid much attention to it before it was put in a box and forgotten about. I got it from my mom. Can't find any information about it on the internet. It says "Quartz, Wirsome, Hessel Suisse, 50g., Gold Fever, 999,9. It weighs 19.8 grams. Can it be real??

I have a feeling it is plated due to the big discrepancy in the weight, but what do I know? Monty

Agreed not real. But still a curious piece. :) Is it not against the law to make something and stamp gold on it??

it's in the wording. if it's real the gold content is plainly seen, like 24k, 10k 99.99 pure etc.
