502 and 504 gateway errors

just wanted to report a problem with the forum. Right around this same time frame (3:30-4am central)I get pages that will not load for 2-3 minutes at a time, finally spitting out a gateway error.

tonight it says this: 504 Gateway Time-out

If i remember correctly it also often says 502 bad gateway

The problem seems to rectify itself in 5-10 minutes but it's rather annoying because those are the moments I want to read the board, not wait around. I'm wondering if anyone else notices it?

I'm running windows 10 and chrome browser. I like to open several threads in new tabs and read them from left tab to right tab, like a book of threads. I've never had a problem doing that on other forums but figured I'd provide a little info on my browsing habits.

I get the 502 bad gateway 4:30 AM to approx 4:36 am Eastern though it can run over to 4:40 4:45 on occasion.
Especially when I am Working online here.

Maintenance doing it's thing.

unfortunately it's not fixable.

Maintenance must do it's updates, backups and whatever.

It could be from server maintenance within the site, OR it could be the re-routing of internet signals as even larger servers do THEIR thing. Yes, not fixable.

thanks for the replies folks I appreciate it. Now that I know what is going on is always in that time frame, I can just check in a little later and it will be smooth sailing as usual.
