From the land of the Bluenose.....Scottie arrived and I beamed him up and away we went down the south shore for a little "T and D.' For those not in the know that stands for Tims and a dig. An hour later there we were on just a super Nova Scotian day that is not typical for this time of year.<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6cf04b3127cce8f28c3652b5400000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>
Hit the back part of the park and was thinking about what may be awaiting a swinging detector on these islands that some mariner may have lost or buried!<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6cf04b3127cce8f28c36f2b5e00000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>
Scottie went right and I left around the shore line and began the penny parade finding a kid's ring, a silver dolphin ring and a 1944 dime which turned out to be all the goodies I found for the day save for clad change.<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6cf04b3127cce8f28c350aa5100000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>
Saw Scottie now and again throughout the dig<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6cf04b3127cce8f28c352aa5300000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center> and as always he was done on his knees not praying but digging up targets!
Of course being outdoors and the toilets boarded up the paper work had to be done. Heading to the woods I looked for those darn bears that hang the Charmin on the trees but they must have used all the rolls or took them into hibernation with them. After this adventure just call me "Twiggy." At least no one took a shot at my Furbie as deer season is still on and we were in a park. Not that that seems to matter in some areas of Nova Scotia!
After a few hours it was time for a java and to the Chester Tim's we did go. Man everytime I have coffee there it is so bitter that I am almost inclined to add sugar and some rum. Avoid this one if you are ever in the area.
Here is Scottie's take for the day.<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6cf04b3127cce8f28c3692b5800000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>and he found everything but the kitchen sink.
My pile consisted of a silver ring, a kids ring, game zone token and 127 coins @ $5.14 including a 1944 dime.<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6cf04b3127cce8f28c36aaa6b00000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>
