Well, my little Ace 250 has produced over $1.00 in the last 2 days, hunting at my house and in the local park. Not too shabby for a newbie! All clad, some found on surface, some at 3" or so. Still using the stock coil, haven't put on the big one yet.

Sweetie and I are heading for Lubbock, TX tomorrow for a little party, but I'll have some time before to do some coin shooting. Anyone got any suggestions as to the absolute best place??? I'm planning on only bringing my stock coil since the soil is so hard over these ways cuz I don't want to dig huge holes. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks. :)

HH, ya'll!

Congrats on the Finds TX

If you can find ANY place Where People SWIM / SWAM,

I'd say Go for it.

HAPPY HUNTING.
Jeff

Find an empty field near an old farmhouse. Take your time, set up a good pattern, and you will find lots of goodies. Good Luck...Lance

Let me think......Lubbock has a huge park on the South side (or is it the east side?) and there's also the Texas Tech campus, all kinds of places there. Then there's the old closed Air Force Base, Reese AFB outside of town about 6 miles. In the local countryside there's any number of abandoned home places and old cotton farms and ....well, there's just lots of places to detect there. I spent some time there in the service and my son went to school there at Tech for two years. Monty

Thanks everybody. We're off to Lubbock. AND I found a 193? Wheatie in the back yard this morning! WOO HOO

HH, ya'll!
