Found these in a coin counting machine reject tray at my bank. Can you just imagine what the machine accepted??? Drives me nuts. The bank (as good of a customer as I am will not sell me coins out of the machine--although they tell me that the machine is treated just as a teller---as long as the ins and outs balance--good to go). Any arm twisting techniques to helping me buy a bag or two of coins from my bank??

If you have A LOT of money on deposit in that bank, you might have enough leverage to be able to persuade them to sell bags off the machine. Otherwise, they probably won't budge. I've bought several bags since I began doing this, and generally speaking, when a banks says, "No.", there isn't a thing you can do to change their mind. Thats been my experience anyway.

On the upside, it is a perfect dump bank. You can dump away without fearing contamination as you can't purchase them anyway. Can't have too many dump banks.
