Good day today with 5 silver coins and a nice crotal bell. I was digging every thing.
The socks I put over the head set helped to keep my ears from sweating and I might need 2 socks now that its getting hotter out.

That's a good idea with the socks, I was sweating with my headphones on today and it's not even summer yet.

I've been wearing the socks for over a week now and not sweating. I had to have my ears cleaned a few weeks ago . Wax build up and sweat plugged my left ear. I had to put mineral oil in both ears and cotton balls taped to ears for three nights before getting them cleaned.

I think it lets some air pass through the socks and keeps the ear dry. Try it out. Now that it's warmer like today I did get some sweating so I think I will need two socks.

Look at it like this: you may be undoing damage done to the hobby by the tv shows. People that think " I can get get rich finding $100 Minie balls" may say " but not if I have to wear socks on my ears. I am taking up Pinochle instead!".

Congrats on all the silver and that cool crotal bell RD.
I've never heard of that sock idea, but it sounds like a winner. I sweat a lot and use a sweatband to keep sweat off my face, but the ears still get wet. I tried a pair of used underwear over my head once because they were already partially soil brown, but quickly got booted off the tot lot.

I was wondering what that was on the crotal bell. I'll have to look it up.
