5 more rings ! # 92 , 93 , 94 , 95 & 96 , 10K gold & silver

I am determined to get 100 rings by tomorrow !!! I went out again last night and early this morning and it paid off . Last night I found ring #92 , it's a .925 silver .This morning I found 4 rings . Three are junk and one is a 10K gold ring from Disneyland . The one junk ring made my heart stop when I dug it , I thought I had a large gold class ring . It turned out to be a plated MLS Champions ring from 2001 , San Jose Earthquakes . The other good finds are some tokens and a 100 Yen coin from I think Japan . I did find one lonely Wheat cent , a 1953D . Total clad for 5 hours is $19.66 !

Won is not worth a lot US. I have several thousand from my last tour over there. Currently it is about 9 cents for 100 won.

pl8man what's your strategy for finding rings? just dig everything? or just dig pull tabs/nickels? I've found a few junkers, a silver or two and a gold one (that rang up as a nickel.)...did you make your 100? I think I've only found 6 this year (but it is my first year out!)....

I don't know how you do it but you are now officially the TNET Ringmaster I'll have to plan a trip sometime and come up for a hunt........ if you don't mind

Elementary schools are full of rings !! Not just kids rings but wedding rings and other silver and gold jewelery . As I get closer to 100 I do start to dig every solid target .

I do a tight grid search . Try schools and soccer fields , lots of rings !
