Re: 5 Minute Park Walk & Strange Bar.

If it weren't so big, I would think belly bar :-\

Can you get permission for ploughed land in your area, it will have plenty of Military stuff. They often burnt the uniforms with buttons & capbadges. I have two sites where I have had over 50 regiments of all kinds, foriegn as well as English Regs.

Haha exactly what I though about it at first! :laughing7:

I have a site in Oxfordshire that my Mum owns & in a 20 minute dig, found a Military Police badge & button, .303 rounds & brass building items. I will be there again next week!
I dont think Liverpool council will let me dig up their park! haha :icon_thumright:

I think you need some ploughed land closer to home. Liverpool being a major port must have plenty of stuff dumped in the surrounding fields. Farmers are quite open to good honest detectorists who split there finds, specially after the Staffordshire Hoard.

Re: 5 Minute Park Walk & Strange Bar.

There was a roman coin hoard found 100 odd years ago in Otterspool on the bank of the Mersey. Im off to see what is around there & who owns it!
Cheers :icon_thumright:

I think we forget, modern day kids are not the only ones that pierced things. Who knows, it could be exactly what you think it is....
