5 HR HUNT TURNS UP MUSKET BALLS AND NICE 1854 COPPER

Hunted the same field where I found the cannonballs and the match safe.

Still some nice things to be found there !!!!!

The 1854 coin was a jumpy signal...maybe because of the depth at 12 inches or because there was also a rusty old nail in the hole also...glad I didn,t ignore it as sometimes I do on the jumpy signals.

The one coin can only see the bust .....is slightly visible and on the other side you can,t see anything.

Like I mentioned before, don't be afraid to dig EVERY signal, it's always something, and sometimes (like this time) it's something good!
You will have lots if digging on your site for sure, looks like its been in use for many many generations

I hope your right...I pretty much got the whole area to myself ..very few do detecting in these parts.....and a ton of places I wanna get ..just have to ask permission which shouldn,t be a problem.
Most people know me around here and I got an ace up my sleeve also...I,m a lobster fisherman...so I offer them lobster when the season starts. !!!!

I got lotsa badges/pins....maybe I should post them and see if you guys can see any that's interesting or of value...I,m new to this stuff so I don,t really know when I have found a good find or a bad find.
