All Treasure Hunting
I finally grew a pair and upgraded to an AT Pro. So far, so good...I went on three hunts with the new machine totaling about 5hrs. One hunt was at a high school and the other two were at a nearby park. Here are my finds minus the trash...a little over $5 in clad, a refs whistle, spoon, silver chain, piece of a silver earring, star pendant, and a real draft beer can lol

Nice work, you will like the ATPro. It's a great machine!

Nice finds, but if you don't like the machine by now then I know someone interested in taking it off your hands...:laughing7:. Congrats! Thanks for sharing and Happy Hunting

Great hunt, silver sniffing machine, low and semi slow. Good reactivity on that Pro.

The ATP is probably one of the most versatile detectors on the market. For the money, it is a great one. Hope it gives you many good memories.

Thank you guys. I like it so far. I can't wait to get in the water with it. When's summer ha

This is the beginning of a wonderful relationship!

I found a 'silver" chain exactly like yours a few weeks ago marked "925 Italy". I was real happy with it.

Unfortunately, when I cleaned it that silver paint started flaking off. It definitely had me fooled too. It looked right and the weight was right.

Congrats on getting out and feeding the addiction. That clad adds up quick. Looks like you pulled a few keepers.

Damn, that's a bummer.

Gotta' take the good with the bad. No big deal. The more junk I dig the closer I am to the next real one.
I am glad one of us ended up with a real one though.

If you have the stock coil on then you might want to do what a lot of us have done and try the 5x8. Since I switched to it and stared using pro zero mode my good finds have increased and I think it's because of this coils ability to separate targets in trashy environments.

Yeah the 5x8 is the way to go for parks and yards, and pro zero mode is fantastic.

You made a Great choice and you'll be very happy with your decision. Looking forward to seeing a lot of posts from you in the future. Nice finds!

Excellent hunt, , my AT PRO paid for itself in 18 months with clad finds alone. It has found gold and silver jewelry as well as silver coins. You're going to like that bad boy.

Thank you guys for the advice. It is much appreciated. I will definitely look into the smaller coil.

It only gets better from here! The AT-Pro is a wonderful machine, and will put you on to some great finds. HH.
