5 and a half rings, and not a one precious metal. Consolation prize? $10 in change.

If you're not using the 5 X 8 coil, then I suggest you try it. It will drop the weight on the PRO. It will shoot through the trash and help isolate the good targets. If you're already using the 5 X 8 coil, then let me mind my business.
Great hunt for you and your son.
Congrats to both of you

Good father son time. I also find tons of rings that aren't silver. Though its a lot of fun and good exercise wee all seek are treasures one piece at a time. Good Job!!!

Congratulations on the very productive hunt! As for the weight, there are my harness devices that can be purchased. I use multiple harnesses with my machines (except the Tesoro - very light) and can hunt for 8 - 10 hours without any pain or fatigue. Hunting with your son is priceless!

OH... and that's the THIRD Eiffel tower earring I've found in the last year. Weird.

Pairs-related jewelry was a frequent find for me also last year. Your hunt mirrors a typical hunt for me on any given weekend at our local schools. Hang in there, you will find that gold or silver ring. Your clad count was excellent! Sub 8-)

Looks like you two had a great hunt together. Keep at it and those gold rings will find your coil.

Hope your arm gets better, I know the feeling. When I swing to aggressively, my shoulder and or elbow let me know. I do use a make-shift harness when I use my large coil, boy is it a savior on long hunts. Sounds like you two had a good hunt. I have my fingers crossed that you pull a gold ring soon.
