5/30/13 beach finds

I got out for 4 hours today. I found 2 ships spikes. an odd pewter cup type thing that is broken, 1.5 lb. of sinkers, 20 golf balls, some can slaw and bolts,nuts,wire,nails, etc. and the only coin was a 1962 penny. the water was awesome on such a hot day.

So the Vermilion water was nice, nice weather nice water a few finds so you were not skunked and 4 hours of letting go of everything else. Have you ever tried hitting one of those water found balls? Just curious. Keep on swinging.................63bkpkr

no I'm not a golfer but they make reproduction cannons that fire golf balls. my brother says if they sit too long they are worthless. I do know several golf courses hire divers to retrieve golf balls from ponds and water traps though. at that point they are range balls just used for practicing. the golf balls are visual finds.
