5 & 3 notch birdies

Wish this 5 notch wasn't missing the tip, both pieces in my opinion, seem to have a cahokia influence/ style.

Oh my how cool is that yes Cahokia culture was quite huge I see more of it the further south I go .

"The further south I go" isn't it par for the course that we should live about 200-300 miles south of here - in the thick of things. But there is a trade - overall, the axes arent as well made down there.....

Cahokia point is also on my bucket list. I've got a rather large bucket list. Pipe, banner stone, Clovis, celt......., the list goes on and on. :wink: Great finds, Paleo! Thanks for posting.

I'm feelin' ya on that bucket list. I've only been going about 2 years and I already have a good list going. Paleo, those are some sweet birdies. I would agree on Cahokia influence. Were those found in Central Iowa?
